I designed the folding dinghy hull shape and Russell Brown worked out the construction details and built the prototype. She is intended to be an ample sized yacht tender easily capable of carrying four persons while only occupying a small space when stowed on deck. She is fast and capable under oar and sail. The folding dinghy has a unique folding system that allows it to be easily assembled in the water in less than 10 seconds and the ultralight construction of the boat means that the parts can be easily handled by one person.
The nesting dinghy is offered as a kit boat from PT Watercraft. Plans alone are not available from Bieker Boats.
