Cormorant is a 30 foot aluminum power boat we designed for Neil Frazier, who is planning a trip through the Northwest Passage with the boat. It will be built in Haida Gwaii by Jake Pattison, who built his own boat Whimbrel there (shown in the water in the gallery below). Cormorant was influenced in many ways by Whimbrel, and also by the Panga hulls of the Pacific. The aluminum components were cut and formed by CJM Technologies in Vancouver.
