This is a light-weight 26 foot plywood commuter cat for a client in the San Juan Islands who wanted to build his own boat. Lightship weight is about 750 kg, power is twin 40 HP outboards, making cruise easily at 20 knots and topping out at close to 30. The structure is CNC-cut four, six and nine millimeter Okoume plywood. The deck is a 75mm thick foam and ply sandwich and the bow sections are machined foam.
